Axel Fredrik Cronstedt: Swedish chemist/mineralogist. December 23, 1722 - August 19, 1765. Cronstedt studied mineralogy and chemistry at Uppsala and visited the most important Swedish mines before becoming a metallurgist with the Bureau of Mines.
